For 5 years now its been a tradition of me taking a photo of our house with a different vehicle in front of it. Here is this year's photo that I just took. Take a look at my previous photos from 2010, 2009, 2008 and 2007 . Our tree is bigger now, we didn't have much snow this year, and we have more Christmas lights up :) My last post of the year... HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Can you believe it? December 29 and we have such a nice riding weather here :) I'm enjoying my time off and today I went out for a little ride on my Vespa.

In the morning I visited the Calgary Zoo, here are a few shots.

Went out on my scooter this morning, mostly to test my new camera, but also couldn't resist taking a quick photo of my Vespa :)

For Christmas I got a GoPro camera from Tracy. I was looking at the camera for a while and thought it would be great to have it for my scooter trips and to use it for some interesting angles on my photo shoots :) Today I did a couple of tests. For the Vespa shot I attached camera to the top of my helmet, it worked well but I would need to find a bit better position and try some different angles.

For the bicycle shot I attached camera to Tracy's bike while she was biking behind me. Not many places on my bike for it, I would have to think about it. For the car shot I attached camera to the outside of my windshield. This was just a quick test and I'm looking forward playing with it more :)

Some photographs from a commercial photo shoot I did earlier this week for Fortis Alberta in High River, AB. I loved the foggy weather we had that morning :) Looking forward to another photo shoot for them tomorrow morning, this time in Okotoks, AB.

Here are some basketball photographs I took last week for St. Mary's University College.

Tracy and I upgraded our bicycles. I'm not sure if this is an upgrade or not but we purchased two new folding bicycles. We got a Brompton and a MINI folding bikes, they both fold in seconds and fit nicely into my little MINI Cooper car :) Hopefully when the weather will get a bit nicer we can do some biking trips.

Brompton folding bike has a pretty good rear rack and a nice little pump :)

For the third year in a row I was happy to be asked to do a group shot for this company... here is one of the fun shots that I took this morning :)

Back in August I had a pleasure working with a great photographer Edward Ross. Edward needed a second shooter for one of his weddings in Canmore, AB and I was more than happy to help! In my 6 years of photographing weddings, oddly enough, this was my first time not being the main photographer. It was great to see how Edward works and not to have the pressure of being the main guy for a change :) Here are a few photographs that I took.

We got a pretty big snow fall last night, so this morning I decided to check out Calgary Zoo and take some animal photographs. Here are a few of my favourites :)

Yesterday I covered a women's hockey game for Mount Royal University. Cougars played against Red Deer College Queens. Here are some of the photographs I took :)

Here are a couple of shots from an event I photographed on Monday for St. Mary's University College. The evening began with presentation by Dr. David Bershad, Art History Professor at St. Mary's University College and the University of Calgary, followed by officially lighting the water tower with more than 8,000 Christmas lights.

Here are some of my volleyball photographs that I took for Mount Royal University on Saturday night. After photographing for 6 years at the same facility it is pretty hard to stay creative, but I'm trying by running around and photographing from different angles.
