Thank you Katya! Its hard to tell about camera, for games like this I use strobes so the quality is great with all my cameras. I do love it, the high ISO is great! I would be able to tell more when I will shoot some other events where I can actually push it :)

Well with all the calculations, its a tie between "Lime" and "Candles" with 9 votes each, and "I do" comes in 3rd with 7 votes. Thank you very much everybody! About wax... I had everything set up before I did it and took it very fast. There was no wax on the rings.

My fave is the the I Do (then Lime)--though I like the candle pic I feel too worried for the rings--hopefully you cleaned them off for the couple really good ;) I mean you cannot risk the couples rings just for the perfect shot, hehehehe!

A couple of photographs from a photo shot for AirdrieLIFE magazine from earlier today. It was my first time sitting in the back of the police car and I was very surprised how cramped it was. I could barely fit my feet and had to bend my head, not the best place to be :) Thank you very much guys, you were great to photograph!

JANUARY 23, 2010 | Calgary Sports Photographer | MRC / Augustana Hockey

Yesterday night I photographed a hockey game for Mount Royal University Cougars, who played against Augustana's Vikings. It was an interesting and high scoring game where Mount Royal ended up wining 7-4. Later tonight I will be photographing a couple of volleyball games, should be fun :)

JANUARY 13, 2010 | Airdrie Hockey Xtreme game photographs

Yesterday evening I photographed a hockey game of Airdrie Xtreme for the City of Airdrie. I usually use strobes to photograph hockey but this time I was stuck doing it without them. I still ended up with some nice shots but as you can see I had to use pretty high ISO settings.

JANUARY 11, 2010 | Calgary Motorcycle Show | Day with friends

Here are some photographs from Saturday. Tracy and I spent a wonderful day with a couple of our friends. We ate some sushi at my favourite sushi place Sakana Grill and than visited the Calgary Motorcycle Show. The show was great and I was very surprised how big it was and how many people were there.

JANUARY 4, 2010 | Saskatoon Family Photographs

Home sweet home! I'm finally back from Saskatoon :) I think the last time I visited Saskatoon was back in July for James and Jamie's wedding. This time we went to visit Tracy's family and here is a photo of her brother Jonah and sister Toni. Jonah is only one month old and that was the first time we saw him :) You also can see some more photos that I took a while ago when we visited our family in Saskatoon.

I had Svetlana Gurevich, a good friend of mine and a photographer, help me out with my last wedding of Bic and Ken. Svetlana helped me out with some other weddings already and It was great to have her shooting with me and I had a great time! We took our formal photographs for this wedding in Calgary at the Lindsay Park. Svetlana also took some photos of me at work :)
