Tracy's sister Mandy came over today and we all played Rock Band 2 on our Wii. We bought Rock Band a week ago and it is so much fun! We need to buy one more guitar so more people can play at the same time:)

I was pretty busy yesterday. Mount Royal College hosted 45th Annual Cougar Night and I photographed it. This was the 3rd year in a row that I photograph Awards Night for the Cougars and I always have a good time. I will post the rest of the photographs on the Cougars website in a day or two.

Yesterday I photographed a hockey game, which was the last game of the season for me. Mount Royal College Cougars won and they are playing tonight in the championship game against SAIT's Trojans. I didn't finish editing all of the photographs yet but here are a few of my favorites.

I spent my morning skiing! I didn't ski for about 3 years so I thought I would start it easy and go for some skiing at Canada Olympic Park. I don't like this ski hill because its pretty small and flat but it is a good hill to get back in shape on :) I had a great time and I'm looking forward to some trips to bigger mountains sometime soon!

Yesterday was a long day for me! First, my friend Greg and I played some curling in a tournament that his company organized. This was the first time I ever played and I was terrible at it. I had lots of fun and met some great people but I don't think this would be the sport for me. Below is a photo of Greg and a photo of me, thank you Greg for taking it for me.

Second, right after curling I headed off to photograph hockey playoff game at Mount Royal College, they played against University of Calgary. I was pretty tired but it was a good game so I had a great time. On my way home I drove over some kind of a hole on the road and my tire blew up. I have 2 big holes in the tire and my rim is bent a bit as well :(

I finally visited my wife at work in her new office. I picked Tracy up and we spent our evening at the Auto Show. I love cars and I go to the show every year. This year almost every company had hybrid cars, trucks, and SUVs. One of my favorite cars at the show was the newly introduced Nissan Cube.

My friend Greg and I spent some time taking some photographs at the Calgary Zoo this morning. The pig below was one of the cutest things I photographed in a long time. For the last couple of days I was doing taxes and a bunch of boring office stuff so it was great to get out and take some animal photographs!

A couple more photo shoots for the City of Airdrie for me today. First, I spent some time at the recycling depot and than took some photographs at street intersections of Airdrie. The weather was great so I was happy to spend some time outdoors.

I took some more photographs at the City Hall this evening. This time I took some shots of Airdrie City Council comprised of Mayor Linda Bruce and six Aldermen.

Today was a very long day for me. I had to wake up at 3:30 am and drive for six and a half hours from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to go straight to photograph six hours of volleyball games. I made it in time and photographed ACAC volleyball finals with lots of emotions and great action.
