I just came back from Mount Royal College where I photographed Cougars hockey teams. This was my first time this year spendig time on the ice and I was frozen by the time I was done with my photographs.

Yesterday I photographed a wedding of Liuba and Doru. It was an eventful day and pretty rushed everywhere so I got super tired. The weather was great so it was wonderful for their outdoor ceremony. The reception was very fun, the couple had some interesting events throughout.

We had our formal photographs done at Heritage Pointe Golf Course, just south of Calgary. It was very cool, they gave us a bunch of golf carts and we could drive around taking photos. The only bad thing was that we did it before the ceremony and only had 35 minutes for all our photos, so we didn't take very many.

Yesterday was a team photo day at Mount Royal College. I had to photograph students from all teams and all staff members. The photo shoot went very good and we were ahead of schedule for pretty much the whole time. I will just have to photograph hockey teams sometime next week because they didn't have their teams finalized yet.

I had a very long weekend, many kilometers of driving, but very fun at the same time. Sunday I drove to Lethbridge to photograph a golf tournament. On my way there it was raining so I wasn't very excited, but during the tournament the weather was perfect. The golf course was very beautiful and I had a great time.

Saturday some of my friends and I went on a photo trip. We left our house just before 7 am and caught the sunrise while we were driving. The plan was to drive through Banff and to go see a classics car show in Radium Hot Springs, stopping on our way and taking photographs.

The car show was very big with many interesting cars. The weather was very hot and we got very tired very fast so we stopped at Radium Hot Springs for a little swim in the pool.

We stayed a little longer than we were planning at Radium Hot Springs, so we had to drive fast so we could take some photographs of the Takakkaw water falls. We made it to the waterfalls but it was very dark already and I only took couple of photos of it. We stopped for a great supper at a Greek restaurant in Banff and headed home.

I just came back from doing some event photography at the Calgary Zoo. IHS had a party for their clients and I was invited to document it. I always love photographing at the Zoo and this evening I had a great time and got some wonderful photographs!

IHS employees were asked to dress up safari like. Photo to the right, Mandy, my sister in law, took it very seriously, great job Mandy!

Well its after 12 am in the morning and I just finished editing photographs from my latest engagement photo shoot. I didn't do any engagement photographs for awhile so I was pretty happy to spend my afternoon with Jennifer and Lance. I have a photo shoot at Mount Royal College in the morning so I better get some sleep :)

I'm back from my photo shoot at Mount Royal College. Today I took some photographs of volleyball and basketball players for the cover of the game day brochures. I had lots of fun and I think I ended up with a bunch of nice photographs.

Yesterday I photogrphed Stephanie and Nathan's wedding. The ceremony and reception was at the Elbow Springs Golf Course and on the way there I noticed how leaves are turning yellow already. It was very beautiful! Next weekend I'm going on a little photo trip to the mountains and I'm getting excited for some fall colors :)

Yesterday Tracy and I spent a very nice time with our good friends Alex and his wife Mila. They live very close to this beautiful lake, so we did a little bit of fishing in the evening. We didn't catch anything this time, although I did pull one fish out but it got away when we tried to put it in the net. It wasn't a very successful fishing trip, but we had lots of fun and I for sure would do it again, hopefully sometime soon.

It's 11 p.m. and I'm still working on processing photographs from tonight's soccer games. Mount Royal Cougars had their season home opener games against the Medicine Hat Rattlers. At first it was sunny and hot but by the end of the second game the temperature dropped and it started to rain. I didn't have my jacket with me so I got wet and frozen :(
