Happy Halloween everyone!!! I had to work today and didn't get to give out candy but I'm sure Tracy did a great job without me. Mount Royal Cougars were playing U of C Dinos. It was all University of Calgary and they ended up with an easy win.

I thought I would take some animal photographs this morning. I spent less than an hour at the Zoo because when I arrived there I realized that I forgot my monopod, so I only visited Canadian animals section. I didn't take any good photographs today but I decided to post a couple of them for you to see anyway.

Getting ready for the winter. I just went and picked up some winter tires and wheels. It is +16C outside right now so I just stored them in the garage for now and will put them on later. Its good to know that I have them when I will need them.

I have been mostly processing photographs for the last couple of days. I saw a beautiful sunset developing outside, so I grabbed my camera and drove for 5 minutes away from our house and took a couple of shots.

My friend Greg and I took a little road trip today. We drove to visit Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump interpretive center. It wasn't the most exciting thing to see but it was still interesting. After spending some time there we drove to Waterton Lakes National Park.

We arrived to the park pretty late, right after the sunset, so we didn't take many photos but I was able to get a couple of photos that I liked.

I just came home from my first hockey game of this season. My main camera is still in repairs so I had to use my backup, Canon 1D Mark II. It took me about 5 or 10 minutes to get used to it but its still a great camera! Tonight Mount Royal Cougars played against MacEwan Griffins. Cougars won 3-2 and it was an entertaining game. Griffins team had a girl for a goalie and she was fantastic, she made 45 or so saves and was a player of the game for the Griffins.

Yesterday was my birthday. We celebrated by having some friends and family over at our house. Thank you very much everyone who was able to make it! It was great to see all of you! This is a cool present from Tracy. She bought me a Ping Pong Table! How cool is that!

Once again its after 12 in the morning and I just came home from a wedding. I had two weddings in the last two days so I'm very tired. I had a great time and the photographs turned out very good! This wedding was in Calgary downtown, so once I got there I didn't have to drive at all so that was great. I'm off to sleep for a very long time :) Enjoy the photographs!

I just came back from a wedding rehearsal that I will be photographing this Saturday at St. Mary's Cathedral. The Cathedral is very big but the ceremony will be small so they will only be using a small portion of the Cathedral. The room that will be used is very very dark, I had to use ISO 6400 and even than I was getting some motion blur. I guess we'll see on Saturday.
I have a pretty busy weekend ahead of me, I have a couple of weddings in a row starting tomorrow, wish me luck :)

Today Mini Club of Calgary had their "Great Pumpkin Run of 2008" to Innisfail and the Jungle Farm to visit a Pumpkin Patch. Turnout was great, we had 41 MINIs show up! Tracy and I had a great time, we picked two little pumpkins, ate a hotdog (or two in my case), and took some pictures.

I spent most of my day shopping for some winter tires for my Mini Cooper and in the evening I washed my car and took some fall photographs of it. One of the photographs will hopefully be used in the 2009 North American Motoring calendar.

Last Sunday I spent my evening with a nice family taking photographs. The plan was to drive closer to the mountains and use it as a background. It was very hazy so the mountains didn't look very good so we just drove west from Airdrie and stopped whenever we saw anything interesting. Here are some of my favorite photographs from our photo shoot.
