NHL HOCKEY | CALGARY FLAMES

Here are a few of my favourite images from last month of photographing Calgary Flames NHL hockey games for Imagn Images.

At least once a month I like to setup an overhead remote camera in the catwalk shooting directly down to one of the nets. It is more work setting it up and taking it down, but sometimes I get an interesting photo from an interesting angle 🙂

A shot of my setup in the media room. Usually between periods I would run to the media room and would try to upload around 10 images, so they can go out to publications as soon as possible.

This was a funny moment seeing fans dressed up against the glass during one of the games 🙂

This was a nice goal by Artemi Panarin from LA Kings in a shoot out agains the Calgary Flames.

Usually when a players is playing in his first NHL hockey game, he gets to state a few laps on the ice all by himself in the beginning of the warmup. Here is a shot of Calgary Flames center Tyson Gross (39) during his rookie lap. I went up to a press box to get a nice shot from above.
