Today we are being beach bums. After we woke up to a nice view (you can see it on the first image) we went for a nice walk along the beach and for a swim in the ocean. Its pretty windy today but still nice and hot. Although I used sunscreen 30 yesterday, I still sun burned, not bad, just a little on my sholders. We ate some food on the beach, it was very very spicy! (Greg, you would love it here). When people say that Jamaican food is spicy, believe them!

We made it to our hotel in Jamaica, located just outside of Ocho Rios. It was very late in the evening, so we didn't see much on our 2 hour drive to the hotel.
This morning we slept in a little and went to our orientation meeting, where they told us about all the exciting things we can do here. There are 8 restaurants in the resort (we didn't try them all yet). At least a couple of the restaurants are open 24h a day. Food is great, lots of spicy meat, some nice deserts, and of course all the drinks you can find. Later tonight we played some tennis. I'm going to have to play alot if I will continue eating like I do.

Well, here we are, we made it to Toronto. Its just past 5 am (Calgary time) and we already checked in our bags, took couple of bags with our winter clothes to the long storage facility, and even booked a rental car for the time when we will come back here after Jamaica. The day is just beginning, and its going to be a long one!

This weekend couple of my friends and I took a nice trip to Banff National Park for a day. The weather wasn't the best, but I think we all had a good time. It was interesting to stop and talk to a ice fisherman and it was kind of scary to walk on the ice with all the cracking that was going on. We had lunch at a great Greek restaurant in Banff (I really recommend it). Also you can see sequence of a joke we played on Greg while taking photo in front of the Natural Bridge sign. (Greg I hope you are ok)

Just played with reflections. I thought it looked interesting but probably would be hard to see on such small photographs.

My coworker Ryan. I worked with him for over 4 years now. Friday, Jan 27 was his last day working with us. He is leaving for Australia (who knows for how long). Ryan has a great sense of humor so I took this photograph of him in our bosses office, it was a going away present for the CEO.

I photograph some of the recreational basketball games where my girlfriend Tracy and her sister Mandy play. I wanted to congratulate Mandy on scoring her first ever basket :) Congrats and I'm sure we'll see more to come!

Tracy and her family having dinner, celebrating her birthday at Boston Pizza restaurant.

This weekend I had a chance to shoot a Cross Country Ski World Cup. Beckie Scott (CAN) won her 4th straight World Cup medal. It was -24C when I drove there but it didn't stop me, by the time it was over I was totally wet and frozen.
Also, for the first time in history, there was a Stampede rodeo going on at the same time as the World Cup, so I spent about half an hour photographing that.

I played around with some portrait ideas this weekend... In the future I will try to have some more portraits of other people in this style but for now here is my self-portrait.
Last night we went to see JUST FOR LAUGHS COMEDY TOUR at the Jack Singer Concert Hall. Here you can see the host Shaun Majumber. The show featured comedians such as: Scot Faulconbridge, Ryan Belleville, Rocky LaPorte, Rod Thompson, and Carl Barron.

I noticed that I didn't update my "News" section for a while.. I will try to do it more often, so come and see it again for more news and photos! Today me, and a friend from work went to the Calgary tower.. well nothing much changed from the last time I visited it. I noticed that shadow of the tower was right in the middle of the street, I think it turned out pretty cool.

Well nothing much is new for now, I'm getting into sports photography more these days so you can expect more sport shots. Please let me know if there is a sport event out there that I should visit.
