Yesterday a couple of my friends and I spent the day at Banff National Park. The weather was very good, nice and warm. I was expecting to see more snow, but instead we could feel that the spring was coming. The sky didn't cooperate with us for any great landscape shots but we had a fun time. |

I finally have some of my photographs on my wall. I always busy printing photographs for my clients but never have any time to make some for myself. Well couple of days ago my friend Brett Coyne from "Prints Charming" made a couple of 20 x 30 in canvas transfers for me. He did a great job and photos look aweseme! |

I spent some time working in my photo studio this morning, had a photo shoot with Kalyn Gilbert. She needed a couple of shots of her eyes as well as a couple of head shots. |

I made some of my favorite food for lunch today, calamari. In the process I managed to set off the fire alarm from having too much smoke but the calamity were great! I'm off to a couple of meetings, wish me luck! |

It was a wonderful day outside and decided to take my wife out for some ice cream and a nice walk in a park. I didn't have to do any work this weekend so it was very nice to spend some time together with my family. With the weather getting so nice lately I will probably have my first soccer game of the season tomorrow. I'm totally out of shape but I'm very excited for the season to start :) If you didn't know, I love soccer and play in a recreational league. You can check it out by going here: calgarysportsclub.com |

I thought I would start the weekend early with a nice BBQ. We buy these very nice spicy sausages from a butcher shop right outside of Airdrie and they are awesome! I can't wait for the weather to get better so I can finish building our deck and have some great BBQs going :) |

Yesterday was a long, tirening, and at the same time very fun day for me. I had a pleasure to photograph my first Filipino wedding. The weather was horrible! It was snowing, very strong wind, and very cold. I thought I would freeze my fingers off holding my cold metal camera. Bride and groom and the rest of the party were great! We couldn't do very many formal photographs because of the weather but what we did do turned out very good. Here are some of the photographs. |

I was driving back home from scouting some photo locations for a wedding that I have to photograph this weekend and I noticed this oil rig. I didn't take any sunset photographs for a very long time so I decided to stop and take couple of shots. |

Tracy and I watched a movie couple of days ago "Into the Wild". It was a good movie and I decided to buy a soundtrack CD from it. I just wanted to recommend it. If you are a fan of Eddie Vedder its a great CD in my opinion! |

My friend Bradley is in the process of getting his pilot license and today was one of his lessons. Tracy, Greg, and I decided to go and see him flying. We watched Bradley do the preflight airplane check and he was all ready to take off when he found out that the airspace is over booked. I don't know any technical terms but what I understood was that they had more airplanes flying around that they wanted. The lesson was canceled and we pretty much woke up and drove there for nothing. That must be disappointing for the pilot to come, get all excited to fly and at the last seconds have to cancel. Bradley said it wasn't the fist time it happened. |

It was a beautiful day and we spent some time at the Zoo. I didn't go there for a long time so I finally had a chance to see a baby elephant and some other new animals. We spent just a couple of hours walking around and after went for lunch to one of my favorite restaurants - "Sakana Grill". |

Well the snow is all almost melted and it was a great sunny day out today. I did an engagement photo shoot with Mark and Mary. I already did their engagement photo shoot back in March but last time the weather was pretty bad and we ended up cutting the photo shoot short. Here are some photographs from today's e-shoot. |

I was asked to photograph the entrance to the Fina Building in Downtown Calgary in the next couple of days for a website. This morning I woke up to see this and I thought to myself that this was perfect weather to take some photos. Its still snowing like crazy and I love it! |

My friend, Maple Chan, makes great cakes for all kind of occasions. She made these things completely out of sugar. Its pretty amazing, I would never think that you can actually eat these things. If you are ever looking for a cake for your special occasion, let me know, she would be happy to make one for you. |

I just came back from a portrait photo shoot with one of my friends. We didn't really have very much time but it was great to spend some time outdoors in the sun instead of the cold ice ring :) |

I'm finally home and resting! Boys from Alberta won the championship and Airdrie team finished with the Bronze medal. This was my last booked tournament for the season and I'm very excited to start photographing weddings. I still didn't do my taxes this year, so this will be my priority for the next week. |

Two more days passed of the Bantam AAA Western Canadian Championship in Airdrie, Alberta. My body is all very sore and I'm for sure need more sleep! I also think that I'm getting sick, probably from being in the cold for so long. Sorry if I didn't reply to your emails, I hope to catch up tomorrow evening after its all over. |

Three days straight I spent away photographing a Ringette Provincials. Even at this age, 11-12 year old, this game is very fast! I'm not a big fan of hockey and ringette tournaments, I love photographing them but its just way too cold for my liking. Spending 10 or more hours a day at the ice level is just not so good on my body. Tracy as always did an awesome job processing all of the images and doing all the sales. |

Yesterday was a very exciting day for me. My new MacBook Pro finally arrived! I wanted to say that migrating all my stuff from my old laptop was a breeze! It took me couple of clicks and about an hour and I had all my programs, all presets, bookmarks, etc on my new laptop. |

Great job by Apple to have such an option. I remember when I was a PC user it took me forever to transfer all my things and to reinstall all my programs on a new computer and even than I didn't transfer everything anyway. |

Second and the last day of the "Best of the West Women's Volleyball Championship 2008". For this tournament I was hired by the Dinos Women's Volleyball Club. I enjoyed the tournament and got lots of good photographs. I am already done processing all of my photographs and now I can enjoy a movie or two :)

It was a wonderfull day! I didn't have to work today so I spent some time resting on the couch with my cats, watched a movie, and cleaned a bit around the house. In the evening we had some friends and family over for a very nice supper. I have to photograph some volleyball games tomorrow and on Sunday so it should be a pretty fun weekend. |

I finally found some time and finished the slideshow of the photographs from our wedding in the Dominican Republic. Check it out! |

Today was a busy day for me. I went out for a brunch with some friends and than Tracy and I spent the rest of the day at the Calgary International Auto and Truck show with my parents. My parents also took us out for a quick dinner afterwards and it was great! |

This morning I woke up to about 3 cm of fresh snow and I had a couple of engagement photo shoots scheduled for today. It was pretty cold and snowing the whole time in the morning and we just had a short photo shoot with Mark and Mary. They did great and we had fun and ended up with some great images. |

My second couple were Alanna and Wess. Lots of fun, lots of energy. The snow stopped by the time we started our photo session and we had a great time in the park. I'm looking forward to their wedding day! |

Calgary International Auto and Truck show is on at the Roundup Centre & Corral Stampede Park from March 12 to March 16. I had a little bet of time today at lunch so I stopped at the show. I love cars and auto shows so it was great to spend some time there. I looked at many cars but still didn't find anything that I like more than my Range Rover. |
