Just wanted to let you know that Olympic Plaza is now open for public skating. I was skating there on Wednesday and we had a great time!

I played around with some portrait ideas this weekend... In the future I will try to have some more portraits of other people in this style but for now here is my self-portrait.
Last night we went to see JUST FOR LAUGHS COMEDY TOUR at the Jack Singer Concert Hall. Here you can see the host Shaun Majumber. The show featured comedians such as: Scot Faulconbridge, Ryan Belleville, Rocky LaPorte, Rod Thompson, and Carl Barron.

Last night I went to see the Hockey Hall of Fame Legends game. Russia was playing against Canada. It was an interesting game and I had a chance to take some photos. Although it was a friendly game, fans got really into it and were cheering as loud as they could, wanting their country to win... it was close, but at the end Canada won.

On Friday night I went to see a basketball game. Mount Royal Cougars were playing against Red Deer College. It was an interesting game and close in scoring 79-70 Cougars won and Josh Whyte was the game's MVP. You can find more information about the team here: Cougars

Saturday early morning I drove to Banff. I had to go by my self because couple of my friends, who I planned to go with, abandoned me.. but I still had a great time! I didn't take many photographs but really enjoyed my time in the snow with some wild animals :)

I don't really know who this is.. to me it looked like a fox, but later some people told me that this was a coyote... please let me know if you know who this is :)

I noticed that I didn't update my "News" section for a while.. I will try to do it more often, so come and see it again for more news and photos! Today me, and a friend from work went to the Calgary tower.. well nothing much changed from the last time I visited it. I noticed that shadow of the tower was right in the middle of the street, I think it turned out pretty cool.

Well nothing much is new for now, I'm getting into sports photography more these days so you can expect more sport shots. Please let me know if there is a sport event out there that I should visit.

Last weekend I went on a small trip to the mountains. I visited Kananaskis and Banff national parks. It was a great trip, I saw a moose couple of times and it was great to be about 5-10 meters away from a wild animal in the middle of nowhere.
Because I gained lots of elevation during this trip, the weather was changing.. I went from +3C to -3C and than to +11C, from having fall weather with beautiful colors to the winter and about 5cm of snow on the ground, all in one day :)

Hello, I finally finished an update for my "Cityscapes" page. Also I updated some other sections: Macro, Landscapes, and People... so please take a look.
You can also notice a new section "New Photos"... this section will be similar to the "photo a day". It is dedicated to my day-to-day photography.

Hello, I just came back from my vacation.. this time I was visiting Saskatchewan. We stayed in Saskatoon and in the Prince Albert national park. I didn't take many photographs but it was a very good trip. We saw some wild animals, did a lot of hiking through the beautiful forest. I was hoping to see some buffalo and moose but no such luck :(
Also I had a chance to go inside of the cage with some animals at the Saskatoon zoo, it was a great experience.

Fireworks competition just ended in Calgary. Overall four Countries were competing: England, Italy, Hong Kong, and Spain. Judges decided that Hong Kong was the best. I went to all of the shows and in my opinion Italy should have won.. but what do i know about fireworks :)

On August 13th, Calgary hosted 60km walk to raise funds for breast cancer research, it was the largest single fundraising event for breast cancer in Alberta’s history.
2281 participants raised $7.1 million. Each walker raised minimum of $2.000 to participate in the walk.

It was a two day event. Participants walked 35km and camped for the night, the next day they walked the remaining 25km. It was a very emotional event with lots of smiles and tears. By the end of the walk there was a closing ceremony in The Corral building, Stampede park
