Today I photographed a rodeo at Rocky Mountain House. It was fun being at a smaller rodeo with not so many people like we have at the Stampede, plus it was great to finally get back to photograph some action.

On the way back we took the long way home, we drove though the Banff National park. I asked Tracy to drive for a bit so I could take a photo of our car. We made some stops to take some landscape shots and saw 3 black bears, it was a great day!

An other busy weekend, not with photographs this time but with working on my deck. I did managed to squeeze one photo shoot in. I didn't post any photos of the deck because there wasn't very much of a "visual" progress, maybe next weekend.

Some photographs from todays photo shoots. Looks like this weekend is all portrait work for me. In the morning I worked in my studio and in the afternoon I had a chance to photograph some portraits at Elbow Falls.

Its here! Tracy and I bought a car, 2007 Toyota Prius Hybrid. I only drove it for a little while so I can't say much but I really like it so far. Its a big change for me from driving my SUV but I'm sure I will be ok, plus it will be nice on gas for long photo trips.

Dwayne Popowich, Vice-President Rapid Solutions Corporation. I was asked to photograph a business portrait for the American Oil and Gas Reporter magazine. Here is what I came up with. I was also scheduled for a model portfolio photo-shoot at my studio this evening but got stood up, oh well, it happens in this business.

Cat Basil, looking out of the window to see the fresh snow. May long weekend we are always getting some snow, this morning we woke up to about 3cm of fresh snow in Airdrie.

Another day outdoors for me, my friend Greg and I drove to the Banff National Park this morning to photograph some landscapes and wild animals.

Just came back from the Calgary Zoo, didn't take many photographs but I had fun and it was good finally to take some animal photographs again.

Some photographs of my father and I, working on my deck. As you can see there is still lots to be done, but I'm back to work from my vacation and things will go even slower from now on.

Couple of shots of the progress. As you can see, the old deck is all taken apart and we building the foundation. Its not going very fast plus we are still getting some wood delivered.

As some of you know, I'm taking a week off to build a deck. Tracy and I bought a house and it already had a deck but its just wasn't big or good enough for me. Plus our yard didn't have a fence on one side. So I took a week to make it all better. Here you can see the original deck in the beginning of us taking it apart.

Last Friday something exciting happened, I proposed to Tracy and she said yes.

Our friend Aenea. I was playing around with lights and took a shot of him in the process.

This morning I had an assignment at the zoo, I had to photograph elephants, actually elephants parts (mouth, ears, feet, etc) It was a fun assignment and I learned some interesting things about elephants.

This weekend Tracy and I drove to Saskatoon (6 hours East of Calgary) to visit Tracy's little sister Toni. It was a relaxing weekend and I think now Tracy will have enough photographs of her sister.

Mount Royal College Players Awards ceremony. Jeff Price (basketball) and Chelsea Hobbs (volleyball) were awarded athlete of the year awards.

This weekend I was in Cochrane, photographing a Junior BB Ringette Provincials 2007. This was the first time ever for me to photograph or to even watch a game of ringette. Its an interesting game and I enjoyed photographing it. I'm still very tired after all the work, but it was all worth it. I took around 2000 photographs and got many good one's.

Its been a while since I had the whole weekend to spend at home, so basically I did just that. I also had a chance to work in my studio.

Some of my friends and I spend time at the zoo this morning. Weather was great and we had a good time. I saw this Australian Owl, I forgot the name of it but it was very interesting looking bird.
I spent my evening shooting High School basketball game at Bert Church in Airdrie.
