Because of my sunburn, the night was a little longer than I would have liked it to be. The weather was great and we had a relaxing and fun day. Everyone played more games and I had a chance to take some portraits. We finished the day by having some marshmallows by the fire. |

It was a great long weekend and I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. |

After a long night for some people (some tents were not as strong and nature took over, flooding them a little) the family had fun playing soccer, volleyball and many other games outside. In some way we were lucky to have a beautiful weather, but I wasn't so lucky, because I sunburned my face. |
This weekend Tracy and I went to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for Tracy's family reunion. It was a 6 hour drive from Calgary and by the time we arrived some people were already there. We didn't really have much time to setup our tent because the sky started to change and it was going to rain any minute. It didn't make us wait very long, rain was pouring as soon as we finished with our tent preparations. The wind was so strong, I thought it would blow my tent away, luckily the tent stayed dry and in one piece. I slept like a baby that night and all I can say is ... earplugs! (my tent is 3rd from the right) |

I have been pretty busy lately with work but I finally found a minute to post some updates on my page. If you would like, you can take a look in my "Events" section for some more photos from the Weekend to End Breast Cancer. I also posted some photographs in my other galleries. |
Second day of the Weekend to End Breast Cancer Walk. Walkers are challenged to walk approximately 30 kilometers a day for 2 days. They camp out Saturday night in a tent. Each walker must raise a minimum of $2000 in donations to participate and all proceeds go to cancer research centers. You can find out more about this event at the Weekend to End Breast Cancer. |

Today I was covering my first baseball game. I don't really know much about baseball so I was learning as the game went on. At the end I was pretty happy with the photographs that I took, and specially for the first time out :) Calgary Vipers played against Winnipeg Goldeyes, Calgary lost 9-2. |

Tracy and I spent some time at the Stampede tonight. If you go to the Stampede, you must have the beef on a bun, its the best!! So much to do, so little time - so true about the Stampede. I'm pretty sure i'm going again for the day on Saturday. |

Happy Canada day! What can be a better way to spend the day than to spend it in Banff national park? I woke up at 2:30am and drove to catch sunrise at Moraine Lake, I wasn't disappointed! |

Today I was fortunate enough to do a "Breakfast with the Gorillas" at the Calgary Zoo. In the morning Tracy and I spent some time with a zoo keeper, preparing food and feeding the gorillas. We had a great time! |
