Elliston Park, GlobalFest, International fireworks competition. Final night... turned out I was right, Spain did win. It was a little rainy and kind of cold but we still enjoyed the fireworks. |

Today in the morning I worked on some family portraits and of course my evening I spent at the Elliston Park, photographing International fireworks competition. Today it was Mexico's turn and they didn't disappoint. In my opinion they put up a much better show than Canada did. |

My sister visited our house today before heading back to California so I took couple of quick shots of her in my studio. |

I just came back from a 3 day trip to Jasper National park with my family. We spent our time pretty much driving around, stopping at view points and taking photos. Overnight we stayed in a hotel in town of Jasper. |

It was raining pretty much the whole trip on and off but we still enjoyed all the beautiful places like Takawaka waterfalls, glacier, all the beautiful lakes, and many many other places. Its gorgeous, no-wonder tourists from all over come to visit! |

My sister is in town from California for a week so we visited Calgary Zoo today. |

We have some new additions to our family. Last week we got a couple of cats, Georgie and Jules. They are two brothers, 10 month old and lots of fun. |

Just came back from a camping trip. Tracy and I and some friends spent the weekend camping on Glennifer Lake. It was lots of fun. The lake wasn't very good for photographs so I just took some snapshots of my friends. |

This evening I did some photo work for Mount Royal College Recreation. It was an interesting assignment and I had fun doing it, I wish I had more strobes with me to light-up the gym a little more. Here you can see one of the photos from their gym. |
Today I drove for about two and a half hours South from Calgary to visit Birds Of Prey Center. I'm not a big fan of birds (exception: Owls, love them; how can you not?) and went there just for photographs, but I would really recommend visiting it if you love birds. |

The Core (Calgary Eaton Centre/TD Square) presents the "Are You Tough Enough to Wear Pink?" fashion extravaganza. An outdoor fashion show, Mode Models took the stage to showcase the hottest cowboy inspired trends from Le Chateau, Boutique of Leathers, Eddie Bauer, Fairweather, Suzy Shier, Lacoste, Eccoci, and Grafton & Co. |

Alex Iron and his son Alex Iron, both are in the real-estate business, had some portrait work done in my studio this evening. |

Today I photographed a wedding, it was my first Russian wedding that I photographed or even attended, so it was very interesting. I have very many photographs to process so I better get to it. |

On April 20, 2007, Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced an agreement towards establishing the Canadian Museum for Human Rights as a federal institution to be located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Today I photographed a Powerpoint presentation event about the Museum and its progress. |

I spent my day at the Waterton National Park today doing some portrait work. This weekend turned out to be a busy one, in two days I drove close to 1600km. |
|
|
|
|
I ended up with some good portrait shots and we even saw a couple of Grizzly bears. I wasn't really ready for the bears so I didn't take any good photographs of them. |
